My first memory of weather was in the 4th grade of my science class, where we spent about a month going over the basics of everything from the water cycle to severe weather. It was the first time I had ever been ecstatic to go to class and learn more. My passion for meteorology has only deepened since then and studying here at the University of Georgia.
I began college as a Pre-Dental major until I promptly had a change of heart during my sophomore year, as I came across the Atmospheric Sciences major one evening. I immediately made the switch and have stayed the course since. I plan to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences in May of 2023. I recently finished an internship with WMAZ-TV in Macon, Georgia, working alongside Chief Meteorologist, Ben Jones, and Morning Meteorologist, Alex Forbes, along with the rest of the Weather Team. I plan to continue into Broadcast Meteorology upon my commencement in May.
Other than meteorology, I am an avid sports fan, specifically the Braves, Bulldogs, and Mavericks. I also have a 2-year-old dog named Aspen whom I love to go out and play with.
