Cooler Temperatures on The Way!

Hello everyone, this is Mason Sikes from the University of Georgia Weather Department. Today was a beautiful day, we warmed up to a relatively hot temperature of 77 degrees with expected cooling following tonight. Tonight there is an expected Wind Advisory Warning in effect issues by the National Weather Service.

Tonight, North Georgia is expected to cool following the line of storms moving across the South-Eastern United States early Thursday morning, leading to early Friday morning. Tonight, North Georgia will be under a Wind Advisory warning up until 8:00 PM EST with winds expected to calm out as we leave the Advisory. Tomorrow, April 12th, there will be light clouds scattered across the sky, but these clouds are expected to clear out leading to sunny, yet windy, conditions for the next few days leading to the weekend. Tomorrow, the temperature is expected to reach the upper 60's at a high, and drop down to the low 50's upper 40's on a low.

Following these lines of intensive storms, there is expected to be no significant weather that can impact your daily commute on Friday morning, with consistently fair weather leading into the weekends.
