Hey everyone this is Jacob! Ever since I was a young kid, I've had a deep interest in the field of meteorology (NOT the study of meteors!), and this has carried and expanded even further into the future. Some of my favorite things to do in my free time include reading books, listening to music, traveling, volunteering, practicing coding, and hanging out with my friends and family. My favorite weather phenomena is either a tornado or a hurricane due to the large number of unknowns and dynamical connections that must occur for them to occur. 

In the future, I really hope to either work in a research role exploring connections between climate change and hurricanes, and working to better understand the dynamics that forces severe weather, and specifically tornado formation to occur. I am currently searching for internships that will help me further my career aspirations for Summer 2024.
