My Story

My journey started high in the sky observing clouds from the window seat of the airplane. I had a peaked interest in weather but didn’t have any idea until senior year at Hillgrove High School. During my senior year, I had the marvelous experience visiting The Weather Channel with Broadcast Meteorologist Kelly Cass. She gave me a real-life experience of the day in the life of a broadcaster from start to finish. This jump started my interest even more.

As a teenager moving all over the country has given me the best experiences in weather than I would have imagined. While living in Massachusetts most of my life I was able to experience some historic storms such as the 2012 Hurricane Sandy and the 2014 Blizzard Storm Nemo. Throwing myself into the mountain piles of snow was always the best part. While living in Texas I was able to experience some of the worst winter storms and arctic outbreaks such as the 2021 Winter Storm Uri and the 2022 Winter Storm Elliot. Severe weather forecasting has been fascinating to me as I wish to continue to travel more and help saving lives along the way.

I began my college career at Kennesaw State University in 2020 as an online Geography major while I completed my BS in Pastoral Ministries at CFNI in Texas. My passion for meteorology brought me to transfer to the University of Georgia in the spring of 2023. I will be graduating from UGA in the spring of 2025 with a BS in Atmospheric Sciences. I cannot wait to begin getting more involved with what UGA has to offer!
