My Story

I am a current 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Georgia pursuing a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences and Geography. Throughout my academic journey, I have discovered I have a deep passion for studying our climate and studying the ways in which weather phenomena contribute to the ongoing changes in our climate. In addition to my involvement with the WeatherDawgs, I'm also an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Georgia's Environmental Change Lab where I am studying the intensity of the Indian Summer Monsoon during the Holocene under Dr. D.F. Porinchu. My special interests in the atmospheric sciences field include severe weather and biosphere-atmosphere interactions. Upon graduating next spring, I am hoping to attend to grad school to further my knowledge of these topics.
