Hi! My name is Gavin Herren, and I am a third-year college student but in my first semester here at UGA studying Atmospheric Sciences! I hope to graduate sometime within the next two years in this field of study and find a job somewhere up north! It is Gods timing however as He has brought me this far and I am so excited to see where He takes me next! In 2011 North Georgia experienced a powerful winter storm and this was the event that led me to fall in love with weather (especially winter weather). I was seven at the time and I remember watching the weather channel for the first time and actually caring about what they were talking about, and it was at that moment that I knew this is what I wanted to do. Whether it be on TV or behind the scenes I cannot wait to see what the Lord has planned with my love for weather, and It has been a blast being able to serve Athens/North Georgia this fall! God bless!
