My Story
My love for weather was sparked at a very young age, brought on by a very close call with an intense EF-3 tornado in the 2011 Super Outbreak. As a six-year-old, I didn't quite understand what had just taken place, but I witnessed the damage firsthand, as the tornado completely leveled a nearby community. Since then, I've made it my life goal to understand the significance of that day, with the intention of not only comprehending the background meteorology, but also to making an impact in the Atmospheric Science community and preventing future loss of life.
As of now, I am a student at the University of Georgia, with the intention of graduating in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in atmospheric science. While there is still some uncertainty as to where I want to continue my meteorological pursuit, may it be broadcast, NOAA, or something else, the dream remains the same, and I look forward to applying my skills and knowledge achieved from UGA to my future work!
When I'm not obsessing about weather, I can be found playing and watching many sports, watching sunsets, and playing guitar.
