Hey! My name is Miguel Navarrete, and I'm from Forsyth County, Georgia. I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Georgia, double majoring in Atmospheric Sciences and Geography. I plan to graduate in December of 2027!

I've always been fascinated by the weather. As a kid, whenever I felt bored, there was one TV channel that never failed to entertain me: The Weather Channel. I loved watching meteorologists forecast the weather my area could expect in the coming days, and even more, I loved hearing them explain how and why weather happens.

Throughout middle school, and high school, I always imagined myself going to college to study meteorology. Now here I am, finally learning about the subject that has captivated me for as long as I can remember. After graduating, I hope to pursue a career in aviation meteorology, though, I would also enjoy working for the National Weather Service or in broadcast meteorology.
