A Beautiful End to August

Good evening, Athens, Georgia! The hazy and humid weather has passed for now, and looking ahead, the last week of August is warm and bright!

Right now, conditions are clear and warm, with Athens sitting at 85 degrees. Similar conditions are expected to persist into the overnight hours. Tonight, winds will stay out of the west/northwest with some light gusts. Temperatures will drop into the low 60s, with a projected low of 60. With high pressure lingering over us, the skies will be mostly clear, and the trend of warm days will continue, and tomorrow temperatures will reach a high of 82.

As we move into midweek, we will stay dry and warm, with some clouds building on Wednesday. We don't start to see a big change in the forecast until Thursday, when a 30% chance for showers now lingers. For now enjoy the beautiful conditions while they last!
