Bundle Up for Halloween!

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we have been experiencing a warming trend over the past week, with temperatures consistently reaching the low 80s. However, this warming trend will come to an end tomorrow as a cold front pushes in, bringing cool temperatures just on time for Halloween.

Tonight's forecasted low for Athens is in the mid 50s. Due to the incoming cold front, we will not warm up much tomorrow, with a high around 60. We will have a 30% chance of spotty showers as this cold front pushes through during the day tomorrow. After the rain clears, conditions will remain mostly cloudy. By the time for trick-or-treating tomorrow evening, conditions will have cooled dramatically, with temperatures in the 40s.

For North Georgia, tonight's forecasted low is in the high 40s. A 40% chance of rain is present overnight and into the morning, but this rain will clear and leave mostly cloudy conditions as the day progresses. Tomorrow's high will be in the high 50s. Like Athens, conditions will be cold for Halloween activities tomorrow evening.

As we look toward the rest of the week, a high pressure system will settle in behind the cold front, keeping conditions clear for the foreseeable future. The combination of cooler temperatures and sunny skies will make for classic fall conditions. Enjoy these conditions and stay warm!
