Cool and Refreshing

Good evening, Athens, Georgia! We are halfway through our second full week of school, and the weather couldn’t be any more perfect. A cold front that moved through a few days ago has left Athens clear and dry, and it’s been great to see everyone out and about on campus taking advantage of these conditions!

Right now in Athens, it’s warm with calm winds. The sun helped push our afternoon high to 81 degrees, and we’re currently sitting at 80. Tonight, we won’t be quite as chilly thanks to a few clouds moving in. Winds will stay light, and temperatures will dip into the low 60s, with an overnight low of 60 degrees.

Tomorrow, similar conditions will persist. Expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s, with a high of 81 degrees. Looking ahead to the weekend, the Georgia Bulldawgs play their first home game of the season here in the Classic City! Saturday carries about a 50% chance of showers, but much of the day should remain partly sunny with highs in the 70s. Fingers crossed for clear skies and a Bulldawg victory!

Go Dawgs!
