Good evening Athens and North Georgia! We have had a beautiful day today with temperatures getting up to 86ºF this afternoon here in Athens! As we look to the coming days, we are going to see those temperatures drop briefly but we are staying dry for the foreseeable future!

Overnight, after the cold front blows through our area, we'll see some chilly overnight lows. Here in Athens we are expecting a low of 62ºF with the rest of northern Georgia ranging in the low 60s. With the cold front, we may see a few isolated showers in the area, but staying partly cloudy tonight otherwise.

Tomorrow our temperatures will be much cooler than what we saw today with lows ranging in the high 60s to lower 70s for North Georgia, and Athens only getting up to 70ºF. Skies will remain mostly sunny throughout the day with no rain expected, so go spend some time outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!

As always, continue to check back with the WeatherDawgs for any more updates as the week continues.
