Fall Sneak Peek

Hello Athens Georgia!

After a rainy weekend, and Saturday football interrupted by storms, I'm sure waking up this morning to the cool, fall-like air was quite the treat! The cold front that brought this past weekends rain has fully passed through the area, leaving Athens and North Georgia now sitting in a large high pressure, even with some slight wedging, which will help these nice conditions persist.

Today in Athens has been windy with clear skies. We reached a high just shy of 80 degrees with a humidity nice and low, making walking around town very pleasant! We are expecting lows tonight to drop into the upper 50's in Athens and across North Georgia.

Looking forward to tomorrow we are expecting a whole lot of the same conditions we saw today. High temperatures in the upper 70's, just barely flirting with 80, and lows dropping back to the upper 50's. This cold air mass is nice and dry, so we are not expecting any precipitation to pop up early in the week.

Enjoy the nice weather and make the most of this perfect fall preview!
