Finally Fall?

Sep 23
1 min read

Good evening, Athens and North Georgia,

We are finally feeling those fall temperatures come through and I have definitely been enjoying the cool weather. We saw our highs today in the mid 70s and our low last night in the upper 60s. We are expected to continue to cool off some more tonight and tomorrow as well.

Tonight, we will likey reach the lower 60s for our lows and lower 70s for our highs in the North Georgia region. Athens is expected to hit 60 degrees for our low and a high of 72 degrees.

However, this is what we in the south call, "false fall." We have gotten a nice repreive from the summer heat but we will heat back up this weekend, just in time for our football game against Oklahoma.

Until next time...and as always, Go Dawgs!

Good evening, Athens and North Georgia, After a very interesting week of weather with Hurricane Isaias, we are back to the same hot and dry weather. We were pretty warm and will continue to stay warm
