From Clouds to Clear

1 min read

Good evening, Athens and North Georgia! We've had a lovely day today, with cooler morning temperatures warming into the high 70s this afternoon.

Though we had some rain over the weekend, we should expect clear skies and slightly cooler days this week following a mild cold front. Overnight, temperatures will hover around the seasonal average with lows of 58 in Athens and 59 in Canton. Tomorrow, the forecasted highs should reach 78 in Athens and 77 in Canton.

With cooler morning temperatures the next few days, a jacket might seem like a good idea early in the day... until you walk outside at noon and wish you left it at home! For the rest of the week, we will remain under a high-pressure ridge with cool morning temperatures and warm afternoons. This temperature pattern will remain consistent throughout the week, though we expect warming into the 80s on Thursday and Friday and a chance of rain moving into the weekend.

Go dawgs!
