Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia,


I hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday, and I hope you all are enjoying the cooler weather!


Overnight, we are looking to get down to 53 degrees with the rest of North Georgia a tad bit cooler at 52 degrees. We are not expecting any rrain through the night.


Tomorrow, Athens will be reaching a high of 82 degrees with the rest of North Georgia staying one degree below at 81. No rain is to be expected until Friday.


Looking forward to the weekend, we're monitoring the potential for impacts from a tropical system forming in the Gulf. We're anticipating the main impact in North Georgia to be rain, but it could also impact the Georgia-Alabama game in Tuscaloosa this weekend as well. As mentioned, we are keeping an eye on it, and we will post any updates to our social medias.
