News Flash: It's hot!

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia!


As you all are no doubt aware, it's hot. And we're going to be staying hot tomorrow, but we could see some relief on Wednesday.


Overnight, we will only be getting down to 74° in Athens and 72° in Canton. Our highs for tomorrow will be even more sweltering than today, looking at 96° and 94° for Athens and Canton respectively.


The relief from the heat I mentioned earlier will come in the form of a cold front, making its way through North Georgia early afternoon Wednesday. This front should knock our temperatures down a few degrees, which will still be hot, but a little more manageable.


With all that said, have a great rest of your day and stay cool!
