Rainy 4th of July?

Good afternoon, Dawg Nation! This week looks to be slightly cooler from the last; although it will still be hot, temps are to be in the upper 80s/lower 90s through the week. Rain is in the forecast for most of the week; scattered showers and storms are to develop in the afternoon; some have the chance to produce flash flooding. Additional rain is forecast to move in Tuesday night as a cold front passes the area. The big question, will it rain for the 4th of July? As of right now, the weather is forecast to be sunny with no rain! Although there could still be a pop-up shower here and there, widespread coverage of rain is not anticipated for the day, and cookouts and firework shows have no worry of any rain washing out any plans. Have a good week, and Go Dawgs!
