Rainy Gameday Weekend

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia!

Happy first day of October!

We are unfortunately looking at a possible wet weekend for the next meeting between the hedges against Vanderbilt on Saturday. But before we get ahead of ourselves, lets look at tonight and tomorrow.

Tonight, we are expecting lows in Athens to get down to 63° and Canton will be a bit cooler at 59°. Tomorrow will be yet another hot one, with 88° and 87° highs for Athens and Canton respectively. We're not expected to get any rain tonight, but tomorrow, a possible shower is not out of the picture.

The real rain will reach North Georgia Saturday from a Northern cold front, bringing pretty consistent showers for our gameday. Sunday will bring the most amount of rain, with the National Weather Service already warning that parts of North Georgia could see up to 2 inches of rain. So if you are cheering our Dawgs on in person on Saturday, or just spending any time outside this weekend, make sure to keep those raincoats handy.

You all have a great and dry weekend!

Go Dawgs,

Paul Lagerbloom
