Summer of Storms

Good afternoon Dawg Nation! The unsettled summer pattern looks to persist for this week; heat indices are to be above 100 for the start of the week and persist near or above triple digits for the remainder of the week. Heat advisories are in effect for most of the area as a result. Remember to take precautions when performing any activities outdoors to stay safe from the heat. As for the rain and storms, that too will be persistent for the week. Scattered storms are expected today, with more widespread storms expected tomorrow. These storms will bring the risk of strong winds, small hail, and the risk of flash flooding with slow-moving storms. Have a great week, and Go Dawgs!
