Unseasonably Warm

Good evening Athens!

Today was a beautiful day across North Georgia though a toasty one. Athens reached 75°F which is not what you would expect for this time of year! Tonight Athens will have a low of 59°F with upper 50s expected across North Georgia. Rain chances are low being 10% for Athens. If you have time to do so and want to go out tonight, the weather will be favorable to do so.

Looking at tomorrow, morning fog is possible so please use caution during your morning commute. Clouds will persist throughout the day as will the unseasonably high temperatures. Athens will reach a high of 76°F with similar highs across North Georgia. Rain chances are once again low with Athens having a 10% chance of rain during the day tomorrow. This is unfortunate because we need the rain as much of Georgia remains in drought.

Looking at the weekend ahead of us, on Saturday November 22nd there is the last home game of the season which is UGA vs UNC Charlotte and kickoff is at 12:45pm. Good football weather is expected! A cold front will be moving through our area late Saturday into early Sunday resulting in reduced highs closer to 70 as we go into next week!

Have a great weekend and go dawgs!
