Unusual November Warmth

Good afternoon Athens!

Today was an awesome but, odd day for mid-November weather in Athens. Feeling more like early October weather. Today we topped out at 72 degrees, with mostly sunny skies. Tonight will also stay really warm, only getting down to the mid 50s. And there will be some scattered showers throughout the night, but no heavy rain is expected.

For tomorrow, the temperature will stay very warm, rising up to the low 70s. Rain chances are around 60% with most of it being on and off rolling into the afternoon. This is good rain though, Athens has been in a little of a drought recently.

Into the rest of the week, Thanksgiving day seems to be the day Athens and the rest of North Georgia cools down. As of right now Thanksgiving temperatures are in the mid 50s and no rain in the forecast. So Thanksgiving might feel a little bit more normal then the past week has.

Have a great Thanksgiving week! Go Dawgs!
