Warm for the Weekend

Happy Thursday Athens and North Georgia!! We hope you've had a great week here at the Weather Dawgs, and we're going to give you the forecast for this weekend.

Here in Athens tonight, we're expecting a low of 66 degrees, with a 20% chance of rain. Unfortunately, tomorrow is going to break our streak of 80-degree highs with a high of 91. Clouds will be our only respite from the heat; no rain is expected for tomorrow.

In Canton, we'll see a low of 65 degrees, with a 10% chance of rain. Canton will just barely break into the 90s as well with some clouds and no chance of rain.

These 90-degree highs will persist into your weekend, making for a hot game day here in Athens. (If you thought last-week's game was hot, this week will be even hotter). The heat will not last long though! A cold front is on its way, and next week is going to feel like fall again.
