Warm Rest of the Week

Good evening Athens!

Our day started with a few isolated showers rolling through before we cleared out for another beautiful day! High temperatures peaked in the mid-80s for the majority of the North Georgia area, and we expect to see warm temperatures take us through the end of the week.

Heading into tonight, our skies will continue to stay mostly clear allowing for temperatures to dip down to 63ºF here in Athens. The rest of North Georgia will be seeing temperatures similar to Athens ranging in the lower 60s. A few isolated showers will continue into the evening, mainly affecting the North Georgia area and giving Athens a 10% chance for precipitation.

As high pressure continues to stay in the area, tomorrow will also consist of mostly clear skies and warmer temperatures. A small chance of rain is expected in case we see a similar morning as we did today. Athens should expect a high of 86ºF with North Georgia sitting in the mid to high 80s as well.

These dry conditions are expected to continue to the end of the week keeping us warm with little to no precipitation, so get outside and enjoy this beautiful weather - Go Dawgs!
