Warming Up Weather!

Good Afternoon! This week, Georgia will be experiencing a ridge of warm air that will be building every day. We start the week off in the lower 70s, but we will be ending it in the upper 70s and even lower 80s in many places! This dome of high pressure will shield the region from any rain, so we will be staying dry for the foreseeable future.

Tonight, Athens will be chilling down to 44 degrees with skies remaining clear. Athens can expect sunny conditions with some passing clouds tomorrow. Our high will reach a pleasant 74 degrees giving us a diurnal temperature spread of 30 degrees (the difference between the overnight low and afternoon high)!

As for our North Georgia readers, tonight's temperatures will be actually be a little warmer than the southern parts. The cooler temperatures will be more towards the east, with the far northeast being the chilliest in the mid 40s. Temperatures towards the west will be warmer hovering around 48-50 degrees. Tomorrow, high temperatures will be similar with lower 70s across the region and clear skies. As mentioned earlier, no rain is expected for a few days.

Thank you for reading today's blog post and have a wonderful rest of your day!
