Hey! My name is Savannah Johnson, and I am a third-year student at the University of Georgia majoring in Atmospheric Sciences with a minor in Disaster Management. When I first got to UGA, I had no idea where I would be just three years later, but after exploring all my options, I quickly found a passion for meteorology.

Learning about the weather has really opened my eyes to the thrill of it all and has sparked my interest in learning how it has such an impact on day-to-day life. I hope to one day pursue in broadcast meteorology where I can use my knowledge to inform the public by relaying reliable forecasts.

When I'm away from my studies, you can find me at the lake, playing guitar, or of course, cheering on the dawgs!
