2/11/2023 WEATHER ALERTS

A wind advisory has been issued for all of north and central Georgia from Dalton to Blairsville, Atlanta, Athens, Macon, and over towards lake country. As a low pressure system begins to track its way across the state, sustained winds can be anywhere between 15 and 25 MPH. Wind gusts could reach 45 MPH. Along with the showers and a few embedded thunderstorms, some areas could see a wind gust higher but not very likely. Secure those loose objects outside! This will begin at 1 PM this afternoon (2/11) and last until 7 AM tomorrow (2/12).
