A Lovely Cold Front

Happy Tuesday evening, Athens!

After nearly touching 80 degrees today, we can expect cooler conditions tomorrow and throughout the week. The reason for this? A cold front is currently making its way through North Georgia. We can expect it to plow through Athens tonight, keeping the Fall conditions around for the next few days. Tonight, our predicted low for Athens is 47 degrees. The cold front passing through will bring clear skies tomorrow and gusty breezes throughout the day. We are forecasting a high of 70 degrees tomorrow, and as this cold front settles in, expect humidity to drop continuously throughout the next couple of days. It's going to be a cool and dry day tomorrow, ideal weather for outdoor chilling if you ask me.

Throughout the rest of the week, expect dry and cooler temperatures to persist. This is due to a high-pressure center located over the southeast US. These dry and clear conditions will call for a rather large diurnal range of temperatures, meaning the daily highs and the lows will have a big difference. For the remainder of the week, expect highs in the mid to lower 70s and lows in the mid to upper 40s. It's looking like it'll be a beautiful next few days; get outside, fire up that grill, go for that walk, and enjoy these seasonal conditions. Go Dawgs! -Noah
