A Pair of Cold Fronts to Usher in Spring Break

Good evening, Athens!

Today has been a great day, with a high temperature of 72 degrees and some decent winds, it has been very comfortable out. Tonight, we are expecting to cool down due to a cold front moving through the area. This cold front will not bring any type of precipitation due to a lack of moisture in the atmosphere. We are expecting our low temperatures tonight to get down into the low 40s.

Moving into tomorrow, we are expecting clear skies and sun, resulting in a bounce-back in the temperatures, only a few degrees lower than today. We are predicting a temperature around 70 degrees tomorrow. There will be persistent sunshine and a decent breeze, so it should remain fairly comfortable. Take advantage of the weather tomorrow and get outside if you can.

Moving into the weekend, we are expecting a high-pressure system to keep the conditions mostly the same. Saturday evening into Sunday we are expecting the passage of another cold front which will drop nighttime temperatures near freezing.

Good luck with the rest of your midterms and Go Dawgs!
