A Sunny First Day of October!

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia! We have been hovering in the upper 70s with low in the 60s by night, the perfect conditions to brighten spirits following the end of Hurricane Helene as those repairs continue throughout South Georgia. These prettier days are expected to stay as the week progresses, and a cold front will enter our area in the next couple of days keeping the temperatures on the cooler side but not changing anything too much!

Looking at tonight, the Athens area should expect a low of 63ºF, with minimal clouds in the area. Looking to North Georgia, temperatures are expected to be a couple of degrees cooler than Athens, but staying in the lower sixties.

Tomorrow, expect relatively the same conditions as today with very few clouds in the sky. The high in Athens will be 82ºF, continuing those fall-like temperatures that are here to stay! For more North Georgia, the temperatures are again staying close to Athens with the highs in the lower 80s!

Make sure you get outside in the next few days, and soak up those fall feeling conditions. Keep checking in WeatherDawgs as the week goes by to get regular updates on forecasts, and go Dawgs!
