A Taste of Sweater Weather

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we had a hard fought Bulldogs victory but was a wet and dreary day if you were in the stands due to a slow, low pressure system moving over the area this weekend. But it cleared out by Sunday afternoon and brought us fall-like temperatures, sunshine and dry conditions. The good news is that these conditions will stick around for a bit as a high pressure systems moves in from the north.

As we go into the overnight hours for Athens, we expect clear skies, with the temperature going down into mid 50's. For tomorrow, expect plenty of sunshine and maybe a passing cloud or two, with the high hovering in the low 80's.

For North Georgia, the story is very similar. As we go into the overnight hours, clear skies will be present throughout the night, bringing the low down into the low 50's. For tomorrow, clear skies with a passing cloud or two, with the high going up into the high 70's.

As we look ahead to later this week, the high pressure will sit over our area, bringing plenty of sunshine, pleasant temperatures, and no precipitation. Have a wonderful day!
