Bring on the Heat!

Good evening, Dawg Nation! It has been a beautiful day here in Athens, reaching a high of a whopping 84 degrees and sunny skies. It was a perfect day to go to the pool and relax after our exciting weekend featuring the annual G-Day game—go red team!

Tonight, we are expected to drop to a low of 60 degrees with light, breezy winds. The night will stay relatively clear, with some scattered clouds rolling in at dawn tomorrow.

Due to an incoming cold front, tomorrow we will have some stronger cold winds throughout the day and an expected high of 71. Fortunately, the sun will return within the next few hours, and we will begin to warm as the week progresses. If you suffer from allergies, the pollen counts are still pretty high, so make sure to take your allergy medicine.

There is currently no threat of severe weather in our area (finally) giving us a nice break from the recent storms. Stay tuned to Weather Dawgs for future updates, and thank you so much for reading.

As always, Go Dawgs!!
