Good evening Athens and North Georgia! Today was a fairly pleasant day, albiet a bit warmer for anyone who got to spend some time outdoors. Tonight we are expecting the skies to remain clear and winds to remain light; so temperatures will drop down to the low 40's. We are watching a warm front work its way over towards us from the west, it will begin impacting us tomorrow afternoon. This will unfortunatley cause a brief hiatus to our cool, fall weather; temperatures tomorrow will creep up into the low 70's.

Despite the warmer temps, the humidity will remain very low and we will not be getting any rain fall. This will help it remain feeling fairly comfortable, BUT does pose increased risk for fire danger. The Peachtree City weather forecast office issued a fire danger statement for the majority of the state. Note that any outdoor fires can and will spread quickly so use extreme caution and follow safe practices.

Go Dawgs!!
