Good evening, North Georgia! Today was a beautiful day all across our area. Some lingering clouds kept it a little cooler than we previously anticipated. Temperatures stayed within the upper 60 to lower 70-degree range with generally sunny skies. Thankfully this is the same story as we "hop" towards the weekend and eventually the beginning of next week. Spring-like temperatures have arrived!

A gradual warming trend should be expected over the next couple of days due to us remaining under the influence of a high-presssue system. Tomorrow we expect mostly sunny weather with a high in the 70s and a low in the upper 30s. A frost advisory has been issued for some of our northernmost counties for the early morning hours but nothing severe is expected.

Saturday will be just like tomorrow but with gusts as high as 25 mph in some spots. Expect a high in the upper 70s and a low in the upper 40s. We are setting up for a beautiful Easter Sunday with sunny skies. Perfect weather for all you egg hunters out there! Some spots could break the 80-degree mark. Lows are expected in the low 60s.
