Fall is Here to Stay

For our viewers in Athens and North Georgia, it was a beautiful and chilly night with clear conditions and temperatures reaching in to the lower 40's. For the fans of fall weather, I have good news for you as these temperatures and conditions are here to stay for the next few days as a high pressure system is parked over the region, bringing sunny skies and comfortable temperatures.

As we head into tonight for Athens, we expect to see clear skies, with the low dipping into the low 40's. For tomorrow, clear, sunny skies, and a very light breeze will be opesent throughout the day, with the high rising into the low 70's. The same story can also be said for North Georgia, as clear conditions will stick around for the night, with the low dipping into the low 40's. For tomorrow, sunny skies and a light breeze will be present, but the high will be a little cooler than Athens, as we're forecasting it into the high 60's.

Looking ahead at the rest of the week, sunny skies and fall-like temperatures will be sticking around. But a new low pressure system may bring us our next chance of rain on Friday, so stay tuned to the WeatherDawgs for any new developments!
