Fall Weather Continues

1 min read

Good evening, North Georgia! I hope you've been enjoying the weather as much as I have, and if you do, I have good news. Tomorrow is going to feel very similar to today.

Get ready for another chilly morning. Tomorrow, we are cooling to a chilly 43 degrees, so make sure to layer up when you leave in the morning. As for the wind, we expect relatively calm wind, with some locally higher speeds possible. Whatever wind we do get will most likely be on the chillier side. Going throughout the day, we will gradually warm up to 76; expect sunny skies and very dry air.

With this dry air, we have a fire danger statement due to low relative humidity. While winds will be light overall, the low humidities could support rapid fire development. So now is not a good time to burn those fall leaves.

Now, looking into the later parts of this week, we will be having that nice Georgia Wedge this weekend. We would expect those daytime highs to actually be a few degrees below the forecasted temperature (normal forecasting models aren't the best at NE Georgia wedge forecasts). So, expect our current conditions for the next few days and a drop in our daytime highs during this weekend.

Thank y'all for reading, and as always...

GO DAWGS!
