Finally Feels like Fall

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia. There was some scattered rain this morning but it has finally passed through and cleared up from yesterday. Athens is currently experiencing a great 73 degrees with relatively clear sunny skies. It is still wet outside with some mild wind so be aware.

The rain we experienced was due to a cold front moving through our area. Following this cold front will be cooler November like temperatures. Tonight, temperatures will drop to as low as 38 with clear skies.

Tomorrow will be a clear sunny day with temperatures in the mid 50s- a predicted high of 55 for Athens and 54 for North Georgia. With the evening reaching down to lows in the mid 30's. Make sure to bundle up.

Looking into the weekend cool fall like temperatures will finally persist due to the cold front moving through our area and high pressure persisting. You can expect clear skies and sunshine in Athens and North Georgia but dont be fooled it may finally be time to get out those winter jackets.

Yay for Fall!!
