First Hurricane of the Season?
Good evening, Athens!
Today was a great day to be outside with the cooler temperatures we had; it finally felt like fall! Tomorrow morning (like this morning) will be on the chillier side with a low of 54, so when you're leaving for the day, don't be surprised by the cooler temperatures, and make sure to bring a jacket. Tomorrow, we will warm up to a high of 85. Expect sunny skies and a slight warm-up from today. We are expected to remain rain-free until this weekend...
Now I'm sure that tropical storm Isaias is on most of your minds at this point, and here's what we know. It's currently forecasted to reach a peak of category 2 status and a maximum wind speed of 110 mph. It is expected to reach landfall as a hurricane at the moment, but this is subject to change. Folks that live in the Northern Gulf should be closely monitoring this storm and taking the appropriate precautions

Thank you for reading, and go dawgs!
