Get Yourself Some Time Outside!

Good Afternoon Dawg Nation!

We here at WeatherDawgs HQ have been thoroughly enjoying this fresh stretch of weather the last few days. We have been consistently sitting 6-8 degrees below average for this time of year. Last night we saw temperatures in Athens dip down into the upper 50s, and with unseasonably low humidities and dew points, its feeling more like late October than August!

The good news is we'll see this trend continue through the next few days. A strong high-pressure system located over the central United States will push southeastward towards us, keeping us comfortable and dry. Over the next few days, we'll see temperatures topping out in the low 80s and nightly lows down into the low 60s, with tonight expected to get below that mark!

Rain chances are expected to creep back up by the end of the week, but in case you were wondering about the Dawgs first football game on Saturday, the WeatherDawgs are expecting a beautiful forecast for their game against Marshall, with game time temperatures around 80 degrees!

Have a great day and Go Dawgs!
