Heating Up

Good morning Dawg Nation! This weekend and next week look to be the hottest for all of north Georgia; a high pressure system is expected to bring daytime highs in the upper 90s to lower 100s for many areas, with heat indices well into the 100s and even lower 110s in some areas. Heat advisories and even excessive heat warnings will more than likely be issued over the coming days, so please exercise caution when outdoors more than ever! Wear light clothing, stay hydrated, and if you feel dizzy or nauseated, get to a place of shade immediately! Afternoon storm chances are low but not zero for this weekend; the main concern is the oppressive heat. Have a great weekend, stay safe from the heat, and Go Dawgs!
