Hello March! Hello Spring Storms?

As we conclude February with yet another unseasonably warm day, we begin to question what March could have in store for us in North Georgia!

Transitioning to a new month, our overnight low temperatures for both Athens and North Ga will be in the mid 50's. Throughout the day tomorrow, all of North Georgia will experience the same warm up that we felt today; the Athens are will see a high temperature near 78 and North Georgia will heat up into the mid 70's! There's a 20% chance that North Georgian's will see a sprinkle or two of rain from scattered showers during the day tomorrow while Athen's residents are only under a 10% chance.

Wetter weather is going to move into Georgia as we progress into the second half of the work week. A low pressure system that is currently bringing threats of severe storms near Texas will push through the South East over the next few days. As of right now, North Georgia is only expected to see rain with a possible rumble of thunder, but as we move closer to overnight Thursday and into Friday, make sure to check back here for more updates!
