Hot, But Beautiful Weekend

As we look forward to the weekend ahead, that rain pattern that we have been seeing will finally move out of the area. With that in mind, we expect to see sunny skies but hot temperatures so remember to wear that sunscreen at the pool and drink plenty of fluids. For the overnight hours in Athens, we expect to see scattered thunderstorms in the evening time but will clear out by midnight with the temperature going down to the mid-60's. For tomorrow, we'll see partly cloudy skies with some breezes coming from the west and the high will be in the upper 80's and could even reach 90 degrees.

For North Georgia, we expect to see the same conditions, albeit on the cooler side. For tonight, we'll see scattered showers that will clear after midnight, with the low being in the lower 60's. For tomorrow, we'll see sunny skies with some breezes coming from the west with the high being in the mid-80's.

Looking towards the weekend, we are expecting conditions to stay clear and warm up. Our next chance of rain is on Sunday with some popup showers with the next system rolling in on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!
