Return of Rain

1 min read

It has been a mostly cloudy day today in Athens and we will be cooling down to 60 degrees tonight with similar lows expected across North Georgia. Rain chances return overnight with Athens having a 10% chance and rain being most likely in western Georgia.

Tomorrow rain chances spike upwards with Athens having a 60% chance of rain and rain is expected across North Georgia as well. This will cool off the high temperatures tomorrow with a high of 75 degrees tomorrow for Athens. I recommend bringing an umbrella with you tomorrow but also make sure to enjoy the return of rain.

This rain is welcome as currently North Georgia is experincing abnormally dry conditions with parts of the state experiencing severe drought. The rain will help combat these ongoing drought conditions, even if only a little bit.

Thank you for reading, and go dawgs!
