Spring Days Are Here

Good evening, Athens and North Georgia!

I hope all of you (and your plants) were able to survive, what is hopefully, the last freeze we will have until fall comes around.

Today was beautiful. Our highs today got up to a balmy mid-60s and the sky has been nice and clear. And good news! We are going to be keeping this nice weather into the weekend. High pressures in the Southeast will keep us clear and dry, and the highs will only be getting higher as we approach next week.

Tonight, Athens will only reach a low of 40°F and Canton will be a degree cooler at 39°F. Our highs tomorrow will get up to 75°F for Athens and 73°F for Canton. Looking ahead to the weekend, both locations will have highs in the lower to mid 80s, and lows getting up to the low 60s. Canton could possibly see some patchy fog early in the mornings, but other than that, our days will be partly cloudy with plenty of sunshine.

Make sure to spend sometime outside this weekend and enjoy some of the first tastes of spring weather!

Have a great weekend and Go Dawgs!

Wedging it

Today in Athens was rather pleasant, though we have been colder than we were last week due to the wedge. There is a high-pressure system sitting off the coast of New England that is forcing colder air
