The Warm-Up Continues

Good evening, Athens and North Georgia! If you made your way outside today, you were treated to some much warmer temperatures than we were experiencing at about this time last Tuesday (also, a notably lower amount of snow). That trend will continue for the foreseeable future, so enjoy the warmth!

That being said, the overnight low in Athens will still be on the cool side, with the mercury expected to dip into the upper 30s. The temperature will rebound nicely back into the 60s during the day tomorrow, with the high expected to top off near 65. We should remain mostly clear and still a bit breezy, but nothing substantial enough to ruin the warmth.

Across North Georgia, the story will be similar. The low will likely dip into the mid-to-upper 30s but rebound nicely into the low 60s. Mostly clear with a few breezes tomorrow will hold throughout the region.

The warmth should persist throughout most of the week as we go into the next few days, with no other sensible weather forecast. The end of the week -- particularly Friday -- will likely prove a bit wetter. Stay tuned for future posts as we continue to monitor the rainy start to our weekend. Nevertheless, go out and enjoy the warmth! Last week's snow was great, but I think we deserve some more comfortable temperatures for a while. Stay safe, and Go Dawgs!!!
