Warm and Muggy?

Happy Tuesday, Athens and North Georgia!

In Athens tonight, we won't be nearly as chilly as last night, reaching a low of 52.

Tomorrow will not feel like the chilly November we had last week, reaching a high of 77. There is a slight chance of showers tonight and tomorrow, but besides that, we'll have partly cloudy skies.

North Georgia will get 53 tonight and reach a high of 74 tomorrow. There is a 20% chance of rain tonight and early tomorrow.

With these higher temperatures, we're also seeing an import of moister air from the west, making us... a little muggy. After a very dry few weeks, the increase in humidity will be unwelcome to many.

Despite the increase in moisture, we're still watching the fire risk we've been under. Continue to take the necessary precautions to ensure that if you burn outdoors, you do it safely, especially this evening.

We're watching the high temperatures in all of North Georgia this week, as some are expected to tie or break the record high temperatures for this time of year, so keep those t-shirts in rotation for just a little longer!

Have a great week and GO DAWGS!
