Warmup for the Start of Fall

Ethan Leclerc

Good evening and thank you for tuning into our blog post today!

Today, Athens hit a high of 86, which is pretty average for this time of year. We will be cooling down to a low of 65 tonight with light cloud cover. Tomorrow, we warm up to a sultry 89 degrees with plenty of sun! Rain is staying out of the forecast for quite some time as we are going into a pattern flip from cloudy and cool to hot and sunny, perfect for ending the summer.

North Georgia will see lows dipping into the lower 60s tonight with temps rising back to the upper 80s tomorrow. Of course, rain is staying away from our area for now, so expect dry conditions throughout the end of the week and into the weekend. The official start of astronomical fall is coming up this Sunday, so happy fall to all of our readers!

As always, thank you for reading and Go Dawgs!
