A Calming Reprieve

Good evening Athens and North Georgia residents. After the winter storm this week passed through, we are expecting some reprieve as we move into this weekend. We even got some flurries this morning in Atlanta and Sandy Springs, so that was a welcome surprise for everyone. Tonight is expected to be the coldest, with winds calming and clouds clearing out. This will provide for some great stargazing, just make sure you bundle up because it will get very cold. Tonight in Athens we are expecting a low of 18 degrees, with a high expected to reach 48 degrees tomorrow. The temperature could get a little higher or colder due to the lack of winds, which will make your Friday and weekend much more enjoyable. Tonight in North Georgia we are expecting a low of 13 degrees and a high expected to be 43 degrees tomorrow. These temperatures will warm as we move through the weekend and into next week. So bundle up tonight and look forward to breaking out the spring clothes! Have a great rest of your day and go Dawgs!
