A Cloudy Start to the Week

Happy Tuesday Athens! Outside today we've had an abundance of clouds and pockets of rain here and there thanks to a tropical rainstorm that came from the Carolina coast, keeping temperatures here in Athens lower than expected; we topped out just below 80 degrees. The center of this system is currently hanging out over Western South Carolina, and could bring some more stray showers overnight as we look to cool off to the low 60's.

Tomorrow looks to be almost a copy and paste from today with low clouds, a high in the low 80's, and potential areas of light rain. Going out towards the end of the week our temperatures will heat back up to the upper 80's with some slight clearing of the clouds and little chance of rain.
