A Cool Down Ahead?

It has been the perfect day for pool day lovers as the weather here has been very warm and humidity is starting to climb higher as we are progressing towards summer. These conditions are expected to stick around into tomorrow with highs in the upper 80's and lower 90's mixed in with humidity as well but the good news is no pop-up storms are expected.

As we head into tomorrow night, a low pressure system is making it way from the north and will bring a few scattered showers after midnight throughout the region, with a 40% chance of rain for both the Athens and Ball Ground areas. A few showers will linger throughout the morning commute but will clear out by the early afternoon. When the system passes, it will bring a cooldown for the region, with temperatures hovering around the upper 70's for the daytime and mid-50's for the nighttime.
